Roy studied International Relations and Military Science while serving in the National Guard and remains a devoted student of history, diplomacy, and economics. He lives in Herriman with his wife, Mersadies, their energetic crew of kids, and far too many pets. When not working (a rare occurrence), Roy can be found skiing, mountain biking, or immersed in Russian literature or classic science fiction. His recent adventures include Christmas markets in Europe, an RV trek to New Orleans, wine country in Napa, and barefoot moments in the Caribbean. And if his phone goes unanswered, he’s probably off-grid on his Utah property—watching wild horses wander by.
