Joshua Jones is the President and co-founder of Everspire, where he blends vision, discipline, and genuine care for people into every part of the firm’s culture. A Certified Financial Planner™, MBA, and nearly two-decade veteran of the financial industry, Joshua has helped shape Everspire into a fiduciary-first firm known for trust, innovation, and always doing what’s right.
Clients and colleagues know him as a leader who thinks strategically but leads with heart. Whether guiding the firm’s direction, mentoring advisors, or refining the client experience, he brings both clarity and empathy. Fluent in English and Spanish, he also serves on the CFP Board’s Scholarship Committee.
Joshua’s commitment to service extends beyond finance, with leadership roles in the Children’s Justice Center, Kiwanis International, U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Group, and Primary Children’s Hospital—always aiming for meaningful, lasting impact.
Born in Thousand Oaks, California, and now based in Utah, he has a deep love for travel and storytelling. His professional path has taken him to Oxford, Prague, and Cartagena, while family adventures have ranged from navigating Tokyo with a double-wide stroller to exploring the colorful backstreets of Havana. His first “business venture”—selling knives in elementary school—was short-lived, legally questionable, and, as he puts it, “character-building.”
One of his proudest achievements is building Everspire alongside his older brother and co-founder, Roy—who once used his ROTC funds to buy Joshua his first car (and a barely-running scooter) and later helped him invest nearly $80,000 he’d saved by age 20.
At home, Joshua is a proud—and often outwitted—father of three: a quick-witted oldest son who devours books, plays guitar, spars in MMA, and speaks Spanish; a daughter who splits her time between gymnastics, tactical eavesdropping, ukulele, and near-fluent Spanish; and a bike-riding, book-loving youngest who also speaks Spanish, practices MMA, and always has a treat hidden somewhere. Joshua embraces the joyful chaos with love, humor, and an endless supply of snacks.
